If you move the cursor over the city, you will see it change to a
pair of crossed swords.  This is the Combat Symbol.  One click on
the city will send your troops on to glorious victory.

One brief note: If you hold down the Shift Key, while the Crossed Swords
are showing, a 'question mark' will appear over the swords.  If you clicked
now, rather than fighting, you would access the Combat Advisor.  He will
tell you your chances of success in the upcoming battle...
